E-Journal Teknologi Informasi & Teknik Sipil (EJTITS) implements a plagiarism screening policy to ensure the originality and academic integrity of every submitted manuscript. All manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism detection using appropriate plagiarism detection software before proceeding to the peer review stage.

Manuscripts identified as containing plagiarism above the tolerance threshold set by the journal will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected. The forms of plagiarism examined include direct plagiarism, partial plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and the use of sources without proper citation. The final decision regarding the eligibility of a manuscript is determined by the editor, based on the screening results and the journal’s publication ethics policy.
