Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to E-Journal Teknologi Informasi & Teknik Sipil (EJTITS) undergoes a peer review process to ensure scientific quality and the relevance of its content. The review process begins with an initial screening by the editor to assess the manuscript’s compliance with the journal’s focus and scope as well as the completeness of administrative requirements.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then assigned to reviewers who possess expertise relevant to the subject area of the manuscript. The review process is conducted using a double-blind review method, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain objectivity.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on several criteria, including originality, novelty, methodological rigor, scientific contribution, and clarity of presentation. Based on the review results, reviewers provide recommendations such as acceptance without revision, acceptance with revision, or rejection. The final decision regarding publication is made by the editor, taking into consideration the reviewers’ evaluations and the journal’s editorial policies.
